Cut up a load of strawberries
Mix in a fair amount of sugar with hot water.
Add in some white wine (can be past its best for drinking)
Tear up some sweet basil leaves
Add a touch of black pepper.
Mix it all together and serve when the liquid has saturated the strawberries and cooled.
